Hours and transportation:
School begins at 8:45am and ends at 3:20 every day. It is important that your child arrives on time.
Lunch/Recess:
After eating, all school students going outside to play in the playground. Your child needs to wear clothing that is appropriate for the time (jackets, gloves, boots, etc.). If rain, students will be in the grade level pods watching a movie or reading a book.
Morning Meetings
Holding Morning Meetings every day provides consistent opportunities for all students to build community in the classroom, gain a sense of belonging, build trust, and set a positive tone for learning. Morning Meetings will allow social and academic learning to come together in a way that is both productive and fun. We go over classroom rules, greet one another read the morning message, share, and build relationships in a group activity.
Special Classes:
In addition to our curriculum, your child will go to classes in physical education, art, music, and the library.
Gym: your child will have gym five days a week. To be safe in the gym, your child needs to bring athletic shoes.
The library: your child can bring home a library book and go to library one day a week. Your child needs to bring your book to school each week so you can choose a new book.

- If your child will be leaving school in a different way than your normal routine, please write me a letter so that I can help your child get home.
- If you need a copy of the bus schedule, you can get in the Office or ask me at the beginning of the school year.
